WEATHERVANE MUSIC: “HEZEKIAH JONES”

Weathervane Music hired FreshFly to shoot an episode of their ground-breaking series Shaking Through (heralded as ”One of the very best online music series” from IFC News). A self-proclaimed “new music incubator”, Weathervane Music brings in a band or artist to record one song, in one day, and have the process documented on video. In this episode, Hezekiah Jones records their song "Borrowed Heart." Written to sync to a scene in Bride of Frankenstein, the 1935 classic, editor Sean Maher injected archival scenes of the movie throughout the video, while director of photography Phil Bradshaw organically captured the recording process.
