Peter English, Director

Peter English is a Philadelphia-based director, artist, and composer. In both craft and concept, his work explores music, video, and art — using a community-oriented process.

Peter was creative director of the non-profit Weathervane Music, an organization dedicated to supporting independent musicians. He produced and directed the acclaimed documentary series Shaking Through — an intimate look at artists in the recording studio.

After leaving Weathervane Music, Peter worked as a commercial director and editor, working with national brands, while continuing to collaborate with boundary-pushing musicians.

Former clients & partners include Microsoft, Penn Medicine, Twitter, and NBC Universal.
